My body is tired and my mind aches. I can remember a time when I felt “normal”, but everyday that memory seems further and further away. I’m not asking to feel young again, I’m simply asking to feel better again.

Are these sentiments that you have felt?

Can you imagine yourself feeling better, but you aren’t sure how to get there?

Are you ready to move past the pain and get on with your life?

If so, please take comfort in knowing we hear you and we are here with a solution for you.

It’s called the 5 Pillars of Health. Let me explain.

Understanding the 5 Pillars

Go ahead and imagine a ladder. At the top of the ladder is your healthy-self. (Can you see yourself up there? “Hey, Healthy-Self!”) Now, the best thing about this ladder is that if you reach the top, you can have your healthy-self back!

But, in order to reach the top of the ladder, you must first climb five rungs. So, rung by rung, you will go, focusing on one rung at a time and trying your best to get steady on the rung before moving up to the next.

In our office, we refer to this ladder of health as the Five Pillars of Health. And we believe that if you move through this process with us, at the end, you can meet your healthy-self again.

The Five Pillars and You

The Five Pillars of Health are a entities of health. In other words, each pillar represents a specific segment of your life that directly effects your maximum health potential. How these pillars of health affect your body is different than how they may affect your friends. All of our bodies are different and require things. But, in general, there are certain guidelines you can follow to maximize each pillar. It’s our intention to show you these guidelines and help you apply them to your own lifestyle.

So, What are each of the Five Pillars?

Over the next few months, we are going to be specifically exploring each of the Five Pillars. It is our hope that if we can gain an in depth understanding of one pillar at a time, we will be able to more effectively climb the ladder of health.

The Five Pillars are:

Diet
Rest
Exercise
Alignment
Mind
