In the spirit of “Going For The Gold” we put Dr. Krystal in the team member spotlight to talk about working out, performance, and everything in-between. Check out the interview here:
What is your normal workout routine?
“I’m a huge fan of hot yoga and circuit/HIIT workouts. I try to make it to yoga 3 times per week and pepper in some circuits, jogging, or other cardio on the other days.”
Are you and Dr. Sean married?
“Yes! LOL, just haven’t changed my last name yet. We met at the beginning of Chiropractic school down in Atlanta, GA and have been inseparable ever since. We have been asked multiple times by people that aren’t sure… if we’re brother and sister!?
If you had one superpower what would it be?
“Flying, for sure!”
When you indulge, what’s your junk food of choice?
“I try to eat healthy most of the time, but I LOVE french fries. Lunch of choice: a nice salad and side of fries…ya know you gotta balance things out sometimes!”
Where is one of the travel destinations on your bucket list?
“I have many, but one of the tropical paradises I would love to eventually visit is Tahiti.”
Final words of encouragement on optimizing your athletic performance levels?
“Stay Active! You don’t have to be a pro athlete to stay active and healthy. Get adjusted…REGULARLY!! Your body is like a car, you need to regularly fill the gas tank, change the oil, rotate the tires, etc. It’s never a one and done kind of thing. Playing sports and exercising is still stress on your body, and ALL types of stress cause subluxations.”
